Medical communications agency Caudex – a subsidiary of McCann Healthcare Worldwide – promoted Amanda Smith to global head of the agency. Smith was previously commercial director, and will replace Gail Flockhart, formerly Caudex’s managing director and CEO. Flockhart announced plans to leave the company. Smith has worked as commercial director at Caudex for three years; before that she worked at Wolters Kluwer.
inVentiv Clinical Solutions, a division of inVentiv Health, announced the promotion of Scott Treiber to executive vice president, clinical development solutions. Treiber was previously senior vice president, clinical operations. In his new role, Treiber will be responsible for leading the contract research organization services group, and overseeing clinical management for clients.
