Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness announced the hiring of Ned Russell as EVP, director of client services – a new position at the agency. Russell previously worked at Arnold and DDB, on consumer brands as well as healthcare products. Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness handles integrated marketing for brands including Nexium, Ambien CR, Plavix and others.
ChemGenex Pharmaceuticals, an oncology-focused drug developer, announced the appointment of Thomas DeZao to SVP, chief commercial officer. DeZao will lead the company’s sales and marketing activities, as well the coordination of manufacturing activities for the launch of omacetaxine in the US.
