Endo Pharmaceuticals has announced the appointment of Nancy Wysenski as COO.
Most recently, Wysenski, a 30-year veteran of the health care industry, was president of EMD Pharmaceuticals, the US subsidiary of Germany’s Merck KGaA. In this role, she was responsible for US operations for EMD and for Dey Laboratories, a specialty respiratory pharmaceutical business. Before joining and co-founding EMD as VP of marketing and sales in 1999, she served as SVP of operations at NetGenics, a venture capital-backed, start-up company specializing in technologies for use in drug discovery. Prior to that, Wysenski held a number of positions of increasing responsibility at Astra Merck.

CommonHealth has named Norm Phillips EVP, director of strategic planning. Phillips joins from Impact Communications, where he headed strategic planning, and has previously worked for Physicians World and Johnson& Johnson/Ortho-McNeil.

Euro RSCG Life named Paul Velardi president of Euro RSCG Life x2, which was created to consolidate its Adrenaline, Interaction, Lighting Communications, Managed Edge and med ed divisions. Velardi joins from Boost, Inc., and reports to North American co-CEO Doug Burcin.
AbelsonTaylor has hired Robert Williams as senior copywriter for a cardiovascular product. He reports to Kaye Kilgore, associate creative director. Williams comes to AbelsonTaylor from Sage Products, a Cary, IL-based manufacturer of health and personal care products, where he was copywriter. There he had responsibility for products in the skin care, oral hygiene and personal protection fields.

Slack Inc. announced that it has restructured its orthopedic sales group, lead by global sales director Michael Graziani, who leads team members Robert Brawn and Michael Quarry, national account managers, and Maria Bernal, director of European sales.
