Edelman’s Zeno Group has named Lynn Hanessian CEO. Hanessian, who was co-director of US health for Edelman and general manager of its Chicago office, will preside over the New York-based firm, which boasts offices in Chicago, LA, San Francisco and Washington servicing clients including AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Pizza Hut and Disney. She replaces Jerry Epstein, who has moved to a consultant role with the firm, and reports to Richard Edelman, president and CEO of Edelman. “I hope to do what I did at Edelman, which was to grow a really strong and sustainable business,” said Hanessian, adding that Zeno Group’s entrepreneurial environment and lack of silos positions it well for expansion. Zeno Group offers consumer marketing, healthcare corporate communications and public affairs. Susan Isenberg remains director of US health at Edelman, while Gina Hayes has been promoted to general manager, Chicago, leading that office together with Jennifer Petterson, general manager, US consumer health.

Michael Rowsom
has joined MediZine as EVP, interactive marketing. In this capacity, he will be extending MediZine’s REMEDYDirect permission marketing program to the internet to build the subscriber base for the offline property as well as online products. Prior to joining MediZine, Rowsom served as SVP for Marketing Technology Solutions in New York. He also had senior level positions at IonResponse, a business consulting company, IAC/Interactive Corp., and 24/7 Media.

Amy Ammon has joined the Advanstar Skincare Group as a national account manager bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing. She will be responsible for corresponding with media organizations, advertising agencies and pharmaceutical companies to secure pages for Cosmetic Surgery Times, Dermatology Times and In the Know, Patient Edition. In addition, Ammon will also be responsible for selling and promoting project opportunities.

Patient feedback company InfoMedics, announced the addition of two new hires — Clark Green, VP of US pharmaceutical sales and Nathan Tsakiris, director of product development. Both positions are reflective of the growth the company has seen over the past year, driven by an increasing demand for responsible, yet effective, pharmaceutical marketing programs. Green will assist in the oversight and crafting the direction of the national sales team, as well as providing a dedicated sales resource for the company’s Midwest client base from his office in the Milwaukee, WI, area. Green has an extensive history of successful sales leadership, most recently at Dendrite Interactive Marketing, where he was western regional manager, achieving 120% of quota two years running. Tsakiris brings close to a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical and life science industry to his role as director of product development at InfoMedics, most recently as an industry program manager, life sciences, at AMR Research In his new role, Tsakiris will be responsible for establishing the vision and roadmap for the continued evolution of InfoMedics’ patient feedback products and services.
