Ventiv Pharma Services’ Promotech division has launched a mail order pharmacy to help provide its clients with direct-to-patient and physician fulfillment services.
Bill Shearer, managing director of Ventiv’s Franklin Group, a patient assistance program manager which will be first to use the new mail order pharmacy, said, “We can now provide turnkey patient assistance programs with product distribution to either the patient’s home or the practitioner’s office based on product type or client preference.”
The “state-of-the-art” Colorado-based pharmacy will operate through mail order, patient assistance programs and Web ordering capabilities.
Additional support will include patient advocacy, physician and consumer and telephone help lines.
Promotech cites Novartis, Pfizer and OSI Pharmaceuticals among its clients.
