Blackwell acquired Le Jacq, a Connecticut firm which publishes over 100 books and 350 journals in medicine, biomedicine and allied health. Le Jacq’s CME business will be folded into Blackwell Futura Media Services, while Blackwell will publish Le Jacq’s eight peer-reviewed clinical journals and its collection of medical books. The deal was brokered by Eugene Simonoff & Associates.
