Consulting firm EY’s London office launched a program to spark digital innovation in health. The project is part of EY’s Startup Challenge, which connects clients to start-ups and start-ups to EY mentors.

Sedicii won last year’s inaugural challenge, which focused on privacy.

The new program, called “Let’s Get Digital,” is a year-long initiative that includes an entry period that ends in November, a shortlist of finalists in December, and a master class next March, along with a June 2016 recognition ceremony.

EY noted in its announcement that the innovation project is not a competition, but a chance to share innovative ideas. John Farenden, who directs the project, said the goal is to find innovations that improve health and social outcomes while reducing health inequalities.
