The journal that I prefer is the monthly Dermatologic Surgery, the official publication of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and The American College of Mohs Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. This journal focuses on surgical and laser techniques and provides clinical treatment options. It often has articles comparing the safety and efficacy of laser treatments. A section titled “How We Do It” highlights skin surgical techniques from experts throughout the world. In “Reconstructive Conundrum,” a surgical repair is explained with great detail. This journal stands out from other dermatology publications as it is specifically related to skin cancer and dermatologic surgery.
