Three short months ago, a record 800 industry healthcaremarketing and media execs flocked to Tavern on the Green in New York tocelebrate the industry’s best work with its brightest stars and to be a part ofthe excitement as the MM&M Award winners were revealed and called to the stage,one-by-one.

What does it mean to these winners? It means the work theyproduced was of such a high standard in terms of its creativity and effectivenessthat our independent judging panel—47 of the industry’s finest leaders andthinkers—deemed it the best. And that’s why these awards—YOUR awards—are theones that truly count.

Whether or not you were a winner in 2007, the good news is:this is your year. At least, it could be if you put your best work forward.

The MM&M Awards 2008 program launches February 11. Thecomplete entry kit, containing details of all the categories, criteria andentry requirements, is available for download at mmm-online.com. The closingdate for submissions is May 30, 2008.

As in previous years, we will assemble an independent panelof expert judges. Last year we had senior marketing execs from Novartis, Merck,Wyeth, GlaxoSmithKline, AstraZeneca, Bayer HealthCare, Schering-Plough andAllergan, along with numerous agency and media leaders. As always, the identityof the winners will be withheld until the MM&M Awards presentation dinnerin NewYork in the fall.
