Wolters Kluwer reported 2007 revenues for its healthdivision down to 761 million Euros from 823 million Euros in 2006 and operatingprofits down to 78 million from 80 million. For the fourth quarter of 2007,revenues were down to 206 million Euros from 232 million for Q4 2006.

On the upside, WoltersKluwer said health products delivered organic growth of 1%, “with strong growthin Clinical Solutions and Medical Research, partially offset by weakeningpharma promotional spending, price compression in Healthcare Analytics, andsoftening book sales in legacy channels.” The publisher vowed to strengthen thedivision through investment in new products and data sets.
