Publicis Health Media has promoted Andrea Palmer to president, a newly created role.
Palmer has worked at Publicis Health Media for five years, previously as chief strategy officer, head of the Chicago office, and SVP. Prior to joining the agency, she worked at another Publicis Groupe firm, Digitas Health, for six years, where she held roles in its media division, including group VP for media.
“This is a big year for us,” Palmer said. “We really believe there’s an opportunity to continue to build the agency of the future. We are actively working to turn our heritage and experience as a health-only agency into personalized offerings, bringing the best experience that clients have had working with us with deep industry and specific therapeutic knowledge and turn that into something more easily scaleable and accessible to more clients.”
Earlier in her career, Palmer worked in interactive services and media buying at Maryland agencies Siquis and Rosenthal Partners.
Publicis Health Media is part of Publicis Healthcare Group, which includes agencies such as Langland, Razorfish, and Heartbeat. Publicis Health Media was launched in 2013 to create a centralized media hub for its healthcare agencies. The firm earned an estimated $75 million in revenue in 2017.
