GCI Health has opened its second office in Asia and named Yvonne Yeung director and market leader.

Yeung will lead the Hong Kong office, which will officially open in January. The agency said the new office was in response to rapid growth in Asia Pacific since opening its first office in Singapore earlier this year.

Previously, Yeung was the PR lead for The Hong Kong Council of Social Service. Earlier in her career, she cofounded healthcare communications firm Mind Resource, which was later acquired by Ogilvy. After the acquisition, she held the role of business director for Mind Resource Ogilvy.

GCI Health also named Dan Blomfield managing director for the Singapore office. He will oversee operations in Singapore. Prior to this, Blomfield was managing director of Ogilvy Health Singapore, client services director for Singapore-based medical comms and HCP network MIMS and worked at health tech agency Incuna.

GCI Health opened its first Asia Pacific office in Singapore last January, led by regional managing director Rikki Jones. This year, the agency also expanded its presence to Germany when it absorbed WPP sister agency Hering Schuppener Healthcare.
