The holidays are here and healthcare organizations as well as their medical marketing counterparts are celebrating the season.

Many already sent in their nominees for the 2022 Cutest Pet in Healthcare and Marketing Communications and are now on to sending out their digital holiday cards.

Some like Publicis Groupe, used their annual well-wishes messages to promote a specific healthcare-related cause, such as enlisting Academy Award-winning actor Michael Douglas to raise awareness around the human papilloma virus. Meanwhile, others just sent out good vibes heading into 2023.

Whatever the case may be, MM+M picked six of our favorite holiday cards from medical marketing agencies, advertisers and healthcare organizations.

CMI Media Group and Compas

As part of its holiday greeting, the 2022 MM+M Agency 100 honoree told employees they would make a donation to a number of healthcare-focused and community-based organizations that were identified by the internal employee resource groups.

These included the Body Empowerment Project, Right To Be, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Black Girls Code, Bonei Olam, Kids In Need Of Defense and the Ali Forney Center.

Taking a note from Dr. Seuss, PRECISIONeffect’s card featured a short video entitled “Oh, the Science We’ve Seen.”

The 80-second video includes a reading in the form of a holiday story, complete with rhymes referencing the year that was.

Real Chemistry

Unlike many who focus on the warmth of friends and family during the holiday season, this 2022 MM+M Agency 100 honoree playfully leaned into hate.

On Sunday, Real Chemistry debuted its AI-inspired Google Chrome plug-in ViciousDelicious, which turns any hate language encountered online into a more positive, encouraging message: heart-healthy recipes.

The agency added that as part of its client gift this year, each of its digital holiday cards also includes space for its teams to write a personalized message to clients.

The Ad Council

This holiday card includes a short animated video wishing everyone a magical, healthy holiday season.

The card was distributed less than a week after the Ad Council, along with its creative partner Meta, debuted its latest public service announcement campaign encouraging parents to understand the prevalence of youth fentanyl overdoses.

The 2022 MM+M Agency 100 honoree sent out a card including a sleigh led by some familiar friends: farm animals like a chicken, a sheep, a pig and a cow.

CrowdPharm also had a short but sweet message: “Let’s fill our hearts with kindness and usher in the New Year with peace.”

Yet another 2022 MM+M Agency 100 honoree sent out a cute card, with this one featuring a rabbit jumping around a snowglobe and wishing everyone a “peak season of joy.”
