Fleishman-Hillard has won an AOR assignment for Siemens Medical System’s AG’s global health division.
According to Lance Longwell, director of public relations at Siemens Medical Solutions’ US office, the decision was based on Fleishman-Hillard’s “broad, integrated approach, their command of the business issues in healthcare and the global footprint they deliver.” Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Fleishman-Hillard was up against “a number of agencies” in the pitch, according to Longwell. Coyne Public Relations was the previous AOR for Siemens Medical Solutions.
Fleishman-Hillard’s responsibilities on the account will include media relations and campaign management across the Siemens Healthcare portfolio, which consists of “imaging and lab diagnostics, therapy and healthcare information technology solutions, supplemented by consulting and support services,” according to Longwell.
Headquartered in St. Louis, Ohio, Fleishman-Hillard’s international network of 80 offices covers North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, South Africa and Latin America. Matthew Doering, SVP and senior partner, will lead the account.
