Centinela Hospital plans to be present in a different way during Sunday’s Super Bowl, taking place only miles away at SoFi Stadium. The Inglewood, California-based facility has partnered with Carvertise to deploy a fleet of Centinela-branded Ubers outside the stadium . Drivers will hand out Centinela-branded COVID safety kits, which will include hand sanitizer and masks.
“It’s been 29 years since Los Angeles has played host to the Big Game,” said Mohammad Naser, CEO of Centinela Hospital Medical Center, in a statement. “Centinela Hospital has been part of the fabric of this community for almost 100 years, and by partnering with Carvertise, we are able to engage directly with our communities in a highly memorable way, right in the center of the action.”
In recent months, Carvertise coordinated similar programs around Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field (on behalf of SS&F Law) and East Rutherford, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium (for Visit Cooperstown).
“In each of these cases, our clients were looking to create excitement in front of very large groups of people in a festive atmosphere,” said Carvertise co-founder Greg Star in the statement. “What better way to engage a crowd than to essentially drive a billboard through the party?”
