As part of its Rosacea Awareness Month push for all things related to the skin condition, Galderma has introduced its Rosacea Space virtual gallery.
The installation, which debuted earlier this month, showcases content from artists and people with rosacea alike. Galderma is encouraging members of the rosacea community and members of their extended communities to share artwork, photographs, poems, music, videos and more.
The effort boasts twin goals: to empower individuals with rosacea and to drive awareness of the condition. In so doing, Galderma hopes to increase what it calls “skin positivity.”
Per a recent online survey conducted by the company, 69% of individuals with rosacea said the condition has impacted their mental and emotional well-being. The survey also revealed that individuals with rosacea don’t believe the condition is taken seriously: 48% reported having heard or been told that rosacea “is not a serious skin condition.”
Galderma markets several Rosacea treatments, including topical cream Soolantra, topical gel Mirvaso and once-daily capsule Oracea.
Here are some of the most visually enticing contributions to Rosacea Space so far.
