Havas Health & You announced Tuesday that Paul Pfleiderer has been appointed as president of Havas Life New York.
Pfleiderer is an industry veteran who most recently served as U.S. Managing Partner at TBWA\WorldHealth. He started his new role on Monday and will work closely with Havas Life Group President Denis Henry.
Pfleiderer stated that his goal is to “nurture a culture” for “exceptional talent” in order to continue the agency’s impressive track record.
“Now more than ever, clients are in need of — even demanding — more innovative integrated solutions,” Pfleiderer said in a statement. “Integration and collaboration have been at the heart of Havas Health & You from the very beginning and I’m eager to leverage this to unlock new possibilities for our clients, our agency and network.”
Havas Life New York is a 2022 MM+M Agency 100 honoree and is shortlisted for Large Agency of the Year at the 2022 MM+M Awards. Last year, the agency recorded a revenue spike of 39% for an MM+M estimated total of $50 million. Additionally, Havas Life New York secured several major clients in that period, including Sanofi and Amgen.
Pfleiderer’s hire is the latest personnel move for HH&Y in a year dominated by them.
Last month, HH&Y named Laura Mizrahi chief creative officer at its flagship H4B Chelsea agency. Over the summer, HH&Y CEO Donna Murphy added Havas Creative Group to her list of responsibilities. Weeks later, HH&Y was named as the single global agency of record by ViiV Healthcare.
Additionally, HH&Y launched Republica Havas Health, helmed by CEO Jorge Plasencia, named Elizabeth Egan as CEO of HH&Y Europe and tapped David Leonardi to serve as creative chief of Havas Tonic.
