McCann Health has appointed Sam Taylor as global business leader for GlaxoSmithKline’s business. She is based in London.
Taylor will lead GSK’s global account in markets including the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.
“My duty is to ensure we provide the highest level of talent across our strategic and creative offering to drive the continued success of GSK at a global level,” Taylor said, in a statement.
Taylor was previously global client lead for Galderma acne and aesthetics franchises at Publicis Health, group account director at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, and senior account director at Huntsworth Health and Dentsu London.
McCann Health promoted Briana Ferrigno to president in March. Also in Q1, the agency hired Daniel Carucci as its first global medical director and promoted Marcus Sigurdsson to global chief digital officer.
McCann Health North America saw an estimated $195 million in revenue in 2017, up 11.5% from 2016. In addition to GSK, its key clients include Johnson & Johnson, Novo Nordisk, Novartis, Genentech, and Eli Lilly.
