The MM+M Awards are back. The brand’s venerable awards program debuted this week, adding several new categories and expanding others. Winners will be announced during a gala virtual event on October 7.

The first entry deadline has been set at April 21, 2021 at 6 p.m. ET. The cost of each entry is $425; any entries submitted after April 21 but before the final deadline of April 29 will incur a late fee of $240 per entry. Click here to access the submission form.

As in years past, the MM+M Awards are open to agencies and their clients, production companies, studios, research firms and any other organization that produces or publishes healthcare marketing materials or content. Eligibility is limited to work created for North America, though international work will be considered if it included a North American component and that component is submitted as part of the entry.

The 2021 MM+M Awards eligibility period runs from April 10, 2020 through April 9, 2021. Qualifying campaigns must have been active for at least part of the eligibility period but need not have been launched during it nor have run for the entirety of it. The eligibility period for new product launches runs from January 1, 2020 to April 9, 2021.

Judges for the 2021 MM+M Awards include healthcare marketers from the agency, client, publishing and service sectors. If interested in serving as a member of the awards jury, you can nominate a colleague or yourself here.

Categories added for the 2021 MM+M Awards include PR agency of the year, medical communications agency of the year, independent agency of the year, midsize healthcare network of the year and large healthcare network of the year.
