Agios Pharmaceuticals named Cecilia Jones as CFO on Monday, replacing Jonathan Biller, who left the company on September 16.
Biller left Agios to become Chief Legal Officer of Vertex Pharmaceuticals. He joined the company in November 2019 as Chief Legal Officer, taking over as CFO in September 2020.
Jones has more than 20 years of industry experience, having most recently served as CFO at LogicBio Therapeutics. She also held leadership roles at Biogen and Genzyme.

Agios named its new CFO months after the company appointed Brian Goff as CEO.
