Elly Price has joined Fishawack Health as managing director for global marketing, the U.K.-based agency said Thursday.

Price is tasked with helping Fishawack Health, a 2022 MM+M Agency 100 honoree, further unify its North American and global marketing teams, as well as continuing to drive its interdisciplinary offering. Those capabilities range from medical and marketing to policy and value, as well as evidence, access and consulting.

Price brings more than 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing. Her expertise spans multiple therapy areas, and she’s led teams in the EMEA and APAC regions.

“I’m really looking forward to supporting such a professional – and fun – team at Fishawack Health,” she said. “It’s clear the team has a really strong foundation to continue to build on and expand, not only in our core areas of expertise but also in connecting effectively across the organization to deliver powerful solutions for our clients. From what I have experienced so far, I can only see bright things for Fishawack global marketing as we continue to build on the innovation, knowledge, vision and drive demonstrated across the team.”

Previously, she served as managing director at London-based Cato Creative. Prior to that, she spent about a decade in various roles within GHG’s U.K. network, including as the agency’s EU business development director, as business development director for specialist agency Darwin Healthcare Communications and as managing director of its Australia and New Zealand offices.

Fishawack Health has been bulking up in its North American region, as well. Staff size there rose from around 400 people at the end of 2020 to 676 a year later. That coincided with a revenue increase of 45% to $139.4 million in 2021, from the previous year’s $96.1 million, according to last June’s MM+M Agency 100 issue.

One of its last major hires was CTO Geoff Thorne, who joined from Digitas Health last September after spending 16 years with the Publicis agency.

On the deal-making front, the agency acquired the DC-based policy and market access shop Avalere Health last June, with help from principal investor Bridgepoint. That followed the acquisition of Policy Analysis, a health economics and outcomes research consultancy, and 2021 additions StoneArch and Closerlook, as well as consulting firm Fide and PRMA Consulting.
