Flume Health has hired Richard Fu as chief growth officer, a role in which he will oversee the company’s expansion into the commercial self-funded market. Flume has also promoted Grant Parker to VP of sales and Casey Hancock to SVP of engineering.

Before joining Flume, Fu was chief strategy officer at BCBS in Kansas City. He also worked in Accenture’s health strategy practice.

“Flume Health has already seen significant growth in 2022, and we’re not even halfway through the year,” said CEO and founder Cedric Kovacs-Johnson in a statement. “This stellar leadership team is well-curated to continue the innovation and advancement that Flume has built thus far. Richard will be a valuable team member as we expand our possibilities and help the industry reimagine health coverage.”

The company recently secured a $30 million series A fundraising round.
