Havas Health & You promoted Elizabeth Egan to CEO of HH&Y Europe Friday morning.

Egan, who has served as president of Havas Lynx Group since 2019, will oversee the company’s operations on the continent as well as its expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. Egan will report directly to HH&Y global CEO Donna Murphy while Claire Knapp, who serves as Havas Lynx’s group managing director, will succeed Egan as CEO of the division.

HH&Y reported in a press release that it has experienced significant growth in Europe during the past five years, which culminated in Egan’s promotion.

“Not only has the European market expanded dramatically over the course of the last few years, but health is also more of a focus than ever for consumers,” Egan said in a statement. “This makes our strategic presence and investment in this region more important than ever.”

Egan has nearly three decades of agency and client-side experience in APAC and Europe. She previously worked at EA, Weight Watchers International and AstraZeneca.

This marks the latest personnel move for HH&Y, which recently tapped David Leonardi as chief creative officer of Havas Tonic and industry veteran Dan Rubin as president of Havas Health+.
