Klick has hired Destry Sulkes as EVP of growth.
The role is newly created at Klick. It supports the growth and innovation of its life science services like creative, media, market access, medical affairs and regulatory, said Lori Grant, president at Klick.
Sulkes joined the agency in March and reports to Alec Melkonian, head of growth and client services at Klick. As he joins the agency, Sulkes said he will focus on driving client growth and continuing to build on Klick’s existing services.
“I’m also excited about contributing to Klick’s growing leadership and success in wellness and virtual care to help deliver holistic medical and lifestyle interventions for healthier lives,” Sulkes said in an email. “This area has been a long-time personal focus of mine as I believe we can bring medical and lifestyle interventions together to create better relationships between our bodies, minds and souls.”
Previously, Sulkes was chief experience officer at Wunderman Thompson. Prior to that, he was chief data officer of WPP’s health practice and managing director and head of strategy for WebMD.
“We are thrilled that Destry has joined Klick. As a physician who has launched brands on the client side, co-founded a healthcare analytics group, and built the Experience practice at a major global advertising holding company, Destry brings unique expertise and skill sets to Klick,” Grant said. “We were impressed by his deep understanding of the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, the growing importance of behavioral science, and how to create long-lasting brand relationships and rich brand experiences. And the fact that he is both kind and unafraid to disrupt the status quo makes him a great cultural addition to our team.”
