Miriam Paramore, president and chief strategy officer for OptimizeRx, will retire effective December 31, the firm said.

A 37-year industry veteran and healthcare IT pioneer who has been with OptimizeRx since 2016, Paramore will transition to an advisory capacity. She holds multiple advisory roles, including with investment firms Sixth Street and NueCura, and has said that she will remain active in the investment community.

The point-of-care technology company announced her retirement in an open letter to shareholders. Among other internal management changes, Ed Stelmakh joined in the combined role of chief financial officer and chief operations officer in October.
