O’Dowd named TherapeuticsMD president

He previously served in executive posts at Neon Therapeutics and Novartis.

Women’s health drugmaker TherapeuticsMD appointed Hugh O’Dowd as president. O’Dowd succeeds John C.K. Milligan IV, who the company recently appointed as CEO of its VitaCare prescription services business.

O’Dowd previously served as president/CEO of immuno-oncology firm Neon Therapeutics, which was acquired by BioNTech last year. Prior to Neon, he spent more than 20 years in a variety of senior leadership roles at Novartis, including chief commercial officer for oncology.
