Tarsus Pharmaceuticals named Scott Morrison as a member of its board of directors and chair of the audit committee Thursday morning.

Morrison, who has served in various leadership roles at Ernst & Young over the past 20 years, also serves on the board of several other healthcare companies.

These include Zai Labs, Corvus Pharmaceuticals, Vera Therapeutics, Ideaya Biosciences and a stint as chair of the audit committee at Global Blood Therapeutics, which was acquired by Pfizer this week.

“We are pleased that Scott is joining the Board and stepping into the role of Audit Committee Chair at this pivotal time for Tarsus, as we transition to a commercial-ready organization with the potential FDA approval of TP-03 for Demodex blepharitis and as we advance our robust R&D pipeline,” Tarsus CEO Bobak Azamian, M.D., Ph.D. said in a statement.
