BIO names CEO

Michelle McMurry-Heath was named president and CEO of advocacy group the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). McMurry-Heath previously served as VP of external innovation and global leader for regulatory science at Johnson & Johnson.

AbbVie names Allergan Aesthetics lead

Carrie Strom was appointed SVP of AbbVie and president of global Allergan Aesthetics, leading the global aesthetics group after its acquisition by AbbVie. Previously, Strom was SVP of U.S. medical aesthetics at Allergan.

SensisHealth names managing director

Sharon Carothers has joined SensisHealth as managing director and Washington DC office lead. Previously, she held leadership positions with The Lewin Group, Truth Initiative and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Jazz Pharma appoints North America EVP

 Kim Sablich has been named EVP and general manager of North America at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, leading the newly formed regional group that includes medical affairs, commercial and market access. She previously held roles at Myovant Sciences, GlaxoSmithKline and Merck.

Finn Partners France appoints health VP

Véronique Simon-Cluzel has joined Finn Partners France as VP of health. Previously, Simor-Cluzel worked in autism advocacy within the French Secretary of State for People with Disabilities and as a journalist.

Altimmune names board member

Diane Jorkasky was appointed as a member of the board of directors for clinical stage pharma company Altimmune. Earlier in her career, Jorkasky held leadership roles with Endo Pharmaceuticals and Pfizer.
