Ogilvy promotes three

Ogilvy Health has promoted three staffers to new executive roles: Amy Graham, Laura Schember, and Catherine Goss. Graham and Schember have been named client engagement officers for Ogilvy Health, while Goss was promoted to EVP and client engagement lead. With the promotions, Ogilvy’s leadership team consists of a ratio of four women to three men.

Mary Langowski, Upwell Health

Upwell Health has appointed Mary Langowski to its board of directors. She is the former EVP and chief strategy and corporate development officer at CVS Health, where she developed telehealth and chronic disease programs. Langowski has also worked at DLA Piper, Alston & Bird, and Dentons.

Sharon Choe, LaVoieHealthScience

LaVoieHealthScience has hired Sharon Choe as SVP of IR and business development. It has also renamed its IR practice as LHS-IR. Choe’s hire expands the firm’s presence to New York City from its Boston-area roots.

George Fotiades, Cantel Medical

Cantel Medical has named George Fotiades as president and CEO. He succeeded Jorgen Hansen, who has resigned from the company and its board of directors. Fotiades was previously president and COO of Cardinal Health.

Alessandro Riva, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals appointed Alessandro Riva as CEO of its new innovation company, effective April 2. Riva is currently EVP for oncology therapeutics and cell therapy for Gilead Sciences. Glenmark announced the rollout of the innovation company last month.

Steve Hoerter, Deciphera Pharmaceuticals

Deciphera Pharmaceuticals appointed Steve Hoerter, a member of its board of directors, to replace the retiring Michael Taylor as president and CEO. Taylor will serve as an adviser to the company for six months. Hoerter was previously chief commercial officer at Agios.
