Everyday Health names medical editor-in-chief

Dr. Patrice Harris has been named medical editor-in-chief at Everyday Health, the flagship consumer health and wellness content and engagement solutions brand of the Everyday Health Group. Most recently, she completed a one-year term as president of the American Medical Association and, as such, was the first black woman to hold that position.

Fingerpaint appoints three people to fill new slots

Dr. Daniel Schroen has been appointed as head of Photo 51, an advanced therapeutics consultancy created just four months ago. Previously, he held management positions at companies that include Reveal Biosciences, Wuxi Advanced Therapies and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Also, Danielle Bedard and Krystal Gomola have joined the company to assume, respectively, the newly created positions of director of corporate communications and business development, and lead recruiter. Previously, Bedard had been at Syneos Health and Gomola had been at Tag Worldwide.

Centogene appoints chief executive officer

Dr. Andrin Oswald has been appointed chief executive officer, effective December 1, by Centogene, a leader in genetic diagnostics solutions for rare diseases. Most recently, he had been the delegate for COVID-19 vaccines and immunotherapies for the Swiss government. Prior to that he had been director of life science industry engagement and partnerships at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He succeeds Dr. Arndt Rolfs, the founder of Centogene, who is stepping down but will remain as an advisor during the transition period.

CheckedUp appoints SVP of sponsorship sales

Jim Dominick has been appointed SVP of sponsorship sales at CheckedUp, a specialty-focused digital point-of-care company. Previously, he served in sales leadership roles at Outcome Health and Adheris Health.
