W2O names board members
Pharma executive Jonathan Peacock and advertising and digital marketing leader George Gallate have joined W2O’s board of directors. Peacock has worked in leadership roles at Novartis, Amgen and McKinsey. Gallate formerly led Havas Digital and Merkle.
Ashfield appoints two global presidents
Greg Flynn was promoted to president of Ashfield Commercial and Patient Solutions. He was previously COO and North America president for the same division. Ashfield also appointed Colin Stanley as president of Ashfield Advisory. Stanley joined the firm from ICON.
Julie Pilon joins Area 23
Area 23 has hired Julie Pilon as executive director of strategic planning. She will lead strategic planning, engagement and medical strategy for the agency. Previously, she was chief strategy officer at Publicis Health + Sapient.
Envision Pharma Group names CEO
David Thompson, previously Envision Pharma’s COO, has been promoted to CEO of the organization. Thompson has been with the company since 2015. The current CEO, Brian Hepburn, will transition to executive co-chair in January.
OODA Health appoints marketing VP
Healthcare technology company OODA Health has brought on Joe Andrews as VP of Marketing. Andrews was previously product and solutions marketing VP for business intelligence company InsideView.
Capital Rx hires SVP of strategy
Josh Golden has joined pharmacy benefit manager Capital Rx as SVP of strategy. He was previously in strategic consulting roles with Solid Benefit Guidance and Pharmaceutical Strategies Group.
Axcella Health appoints CFO, general counsel
Biotech Axcella Health has appointed Laurent Chardonnet as chief financial officer. Chardonnet spent 15 years with Incyte. Axcella also promoted Heidy King-Jones, previously VP of legal, to general counsel.
