Drug e-coupon outfit OptimizeRx announced that it has expanded to work with Allscripts’ EHR platform.
OptimizeRx said its core tool, which aims to replace physical drug samples with electronic trial vouchers and copay coupon savings that are electronically added to an e-Prescription and beamed to pharmacies, is now embedded in more than 350 EHRs serving 350,000 healthcare providers across the US.
The announcement follows a partnership announced earlier this year in which TrialCard, which also makes copay savings and other forms of assistance available to patients on behalf of drug companies, incorporated its tool within the PracticeFusion EHR platform.
