Pfizer’s late 2006 sales force realignment has left the door open for other drug firms to re-evaluate their own resource levels. “Expect to see several companies follow suit in 2007,” marketing information firm Target Rx CEO Mike Luby told MM&M. Luby said pharma companies will also be looking to create the right mix of centralized and localized operations for sales forces in 2007.
