A second cancer patient’s HIV has gone into remission after a stem-cell transplant.  The unnamed patient has not taken antiretroviral drugs since September 2017. This case comes 10 years after Timothy Ray Brown, the “Berlin patient,” who was the first person said to be cured of HIV. The research was published in Nature. (STAT)
