Calcium has rolled out a new integrated strategy unit designed to create “next-generation strategies” fueled by insights, analytics and an emphasis on customer engagement, the agency announced today. It will be headed up by Calcium managing partner and chief strategy officer Steve Hamburg, with support from EVP, engagement and social Liz Gopaul; EVP, medical director Lauren Lazar, MD; SVP, brand strategy Lynn Nezin, PhD; and SVP, brand planning Tim Wisniewski.

“Getting strategy right is a precondition of getting everything else right,” Hamburg said in a statement.

Calcium CEO Judy Capano added in the statement that the integrated strategy group will “further elevate Calcium’s strategic prowess, reflecting our conviction that powerful insights, ideas and innovations are at the heart of everything we do for clients.”

Per MM+M’s 2021 MM+M Agency 100, Calcium generated $35.9 million in revenue in 2020, representing a 71% jump over the year prior. It counts Acceleron Pharma, Bristol Myers Squibb and Genentech among its clients.
