Fishawack Health announced the acquisition of Policy Analysis (PAI), a 30-strong Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts-based consultancy specializing in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR). The deal bolsters Fishawack’s growing value, evidence and access group.
“These services are integral for helping our clients make critical decisions early in product development, mitigating some of the risks of bringing new molecules and indications to market,” said Fishawack CEO Jon Koch in a statement.
“When the FH and PAI leadership teams met for the first time, the synergies and fit were immediately apparent. It was clear that we shared not only core values as companies, but also a vision of how, together, we could bring significant value to our clients,” added PAI managing partner Gerry Oster, PhD, in the statement. He becomes Fishawack Health’s global head of health economics.
PAI’s core offering focuses on HEOR strategy development, evidence-generation planning, economic modeling and trial-based data analytics. In 2018, the firm debuted its hēRo3 digital platform, which was used to streamline HEOR modeling at biopharma companies.
Per the MM+M 2021 Agency 100, Fishawack Health generated $96.1 million in revenue during 2020. Recent Fishawack acquisitions include Closerlook (June 2021), Stonearch and Hive Health (both in early 2021), Skysis (April 2020), 2e and Dudnyk (both in 2019), Blue Latitude Health (2018) and Carling Communications (2017).
