Healthworld Communications, New York, has created a new ad campaign for Wyeth’s Prempro that includes a 60-second television spot and a consumer print ad. The ads begin running this month. The 60-second spot will air on network programs such as Entertainment Tonight and CSI: Miami.
The campaign is designed to educate women about the appropriate use of hormone therapy and seeks to encourage dialogue between women and their healthcare professionals about the treatment of menopausal symptoms.
“The new consumer advertising campaign gives clear and balanced information about the clinically proven symptom relief and bone protection that Prempro can provide to women who experience moderate to severe menopausal symptoms,” says Joseph Mahady, president of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, North America and Global Businesses. “Prempro will be right for some women and not for others. This campaign will encourage a woman to talk with her healthcare professional about menopausal symptoms and whether hormone therapy is right for her.”
