MM+M has debuted the 2022 iterations of its Women of Distinction and Women to Watch programs. The newly revamped Women of Distinction offering celebrates the industry’s most successful and respected veteran leaders, while Women to Watch shines a light on its most esteemed up-and-coming talent.

“It was time to rebrand the MM+M Hall of Femme to more accurately and respectfully characterize the accomplishments of the women who populate it,” said Larry Dobrow, MM+M’s editor-in-chief. “Our honorees have long distinguished themselves with internal and external audiences alike. The 2022 classes of Women of Distinction and Women to Watch will represent the best of what the medical marketing business has to offer.”

Eligible organizations include biopharma companies, medical device and diagnostics firms, healthcare marketing and communications agencies and health media groups. Women of Distinction candidates typically serve in top leadership roles, such as CEO, president, EVP or managing director, while Women to Watch candidates typically serve in mid-career roles, such as VP or senior director.

All nominees must work in North America. Self-nominations are permitted for Women to Watch but not Women of Distinction. Any person who identifies as a woman is eligible to be nominated.

Nominations must be submitted by January 5, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. E.T. While MM+M can accept nominations until January 12, those submitted after the January 5 deadline will incur a late fee of $50 per nomination.

The 2022 Women of Distinction and Women to Watch honorees will be celebrated at an event slated for June 2022 in New York.
