Gupta out at AMA
The American Medical Association is searching for a publishing chief following the resignation of Nawin Gupta.
Gupta, who has served as vice president, publishing and group publisher at the group for over 3 years, is leaving the organization July 8 to pursue unknown other opportunities. Gupta is on medical leave and could not be reached.
The AMA will conduct a national search for his replacement, focusing on candidates with strong medical publishing backgrounds. In the meantime, Gupta's responsibilities will be assumed by senior vice president Bob Musacchio.
