With its ferociously different positioning, Elevate is one of the rare agencies — small or large — that shows its stripes in everything it does. That means that besides breakthrough campaigns for clients, it’s also rattling its own cage, finding better ways to do business.
Last year showed just how meaningful its ongoing Welcome to the Jungle campaign is. With revenue of $6.9 million, it added seven new wins, including assignments from Johnson & Johnson, Recordati Rare Disease, Medexus Pharmaceuticals and AlfaSigma USA. But most of its growth — 60% — comes from existing clients, who already value Elevate’s challenger-brand thinking.
And in a year where hiring was a major obstacle for all agencies, it kept the drums beating on its employee value proposition. Among its other honors, it was named the 5th Best Place to Work in Pennsylvania across all industries.
Part of its appeal stems from linking its best thinking and mission to philanthropic engagement that resonates with its workforce. Through an effort to create a new brand identity for Foundation Fighting Blindness, Elevate was so inspired by work with people suffering from retinal degenerative diseases that it donated a multichannel campaign to help drive awareness of the organization’s mission.
Besides its important work with Leadership Philadelphia, its love of animals also means it supports causes such as the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an orphan elephant rescue program, and the Wolf Sanctuary of Pennsylvania.
Our judges love Elevate’s “clever and impactful agency branding,” translated in a way that is deeply meaningful to clients and employees.
