Bayer HealthCare appointed Erica Mann president of its consumer division and a member of its executive committee, effective March 14. Mann most recently served as president and GM of Pfizer Nutritional Health and before that was SVP, nutrition, at Wyeth. She replaces the retiring Gary Balkema, who had been responsible for the worldwide Bayer Consumer Care Division, as well as Bayer HealthCare business activities in Latin America, since 2002.

Pozen hired Mark Matthews as VP, marketing and sales, responsible for driving commercial strategy for all pipeline products. Prior to joining Pozen, Matthews was VP of marketing and sales for Javelin Pharmaceuticals.

GfK HealthCare hired three senior researchers: Camm Epstein, VP, market access, US practice lead; Heinz Ohde, division manager, global syndicated services; and Marco Rauland, head of pricing & reimbursement. Epstein was formerly with MediMedia, a healthcare marketing and communications firm; Ohde most recently served as business development director at Cegedim Strategic Data in Paris; and Rauland had served as global head of the pricing, access & reimbursement practice for Genactis.
