Neuropharm Group
, a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development of medicines for the treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders appointed Bob Prachar president US Operations. Prachar has more than 17 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has held management positions at companies including Johnson & Johnson, Abbott Laboratories and Merck & Co. Prior to joining Neuropharm he was Head of Worldwide Immunology New Business Development, and a management board member, at Centocor, a Johnson & Johnson subsidiary. Prachar has significant experience of new product launches, sales and marketing. For four years he was Prachar VP of Centocor’s rheumatology franchise, where he was responsible for the US sales and marketing of Remicade, a biologic agent targeting immunology conditions. Under his leadership, the franchise doubled sales to $1.6 billion per year. Neuropharm intends to open an East Coast office during 2008.

As a client partner, Dhouti will oversee account teams on large-scale website implementations and media campaigns. He has 15 years of experience in marketing and professional services, including 10 years in the digital space. Prior to joining Avenue A | Razorfish, he served as a management consultant with the French firm Hemeria Management Consulting in Paris, France.

InVentiv Communications, a division of inVentiv Health, has promoted Rick Smith to CFO. Smith will be responsible for overseeing the finance and accounting operations for inVentiv Communications, as well as providing financial leadership to the business units included within the inVentiv Communications division of inVentiv Health, Inc. Smith has been with inVentiv Communications since 2000, and previously held the position of SVP, controller. Prior to inVentiv, he held a variety of financial positions with Limited Inc. and was a management consultant with CSC/Index.
