Sales team support services firm Publicis Selling Solutions (PSS) announced the following new hires and promotions. Dan Gober has been hired as senior director, business development from Oscient Pharmaceuticals where he was western regional sales director. Shereen Snead has been hired as an accountant from Nine West Footwear. Jackie Cento has been hired as an associate recruiter. Cento was previously with King Pharmaceuticals as a compensation analyst. Nick Giampino has been hired as a sales operations specialist. Previously, Giampino was a sales promotion program coordinator with Cardinal Health. Renee Billington has been promoted to manager, sales reporting & analytics. Billington was previously a sales operations analyst in the sales operations & analytics department at PSS.

Euro RSCG Life named Bernie Coccia president of Euro RSCG Life Chelsea, while Dan Marsalle becomes chief of operations at the agency. Coccia was previously managing partner at AgencyRx, a unit of Omnicom’s CDM, and Marsalle leads Euro RSCG Life BlueStar, the Havas network’s production company. Former Chelsea president Ed Stapor, now co-CEO North America, continues to have management oversight over Euro RSCG Life Chelsea and Canada, and will assume an expanded role within the network, taking on responsibility for Latin America, parts of Asia Pacific, network strategy, promotion and expansion, including acquisitions and the launch of a West Coast agency.
