Eisai announced the hiring of two new senior vice presidents: Steven Sembler, SVP, oncology and institutional care, and Ann Miller, SVP, primary care and specialty business. Sembler will be responsible for all aspects of the US commercial business for oncology and specialty care therapeutic areas. Miller will oversee primary care and specialty business, and will be responsible for more than $3 billion in sales and over 700 sales, marketing and medical affairs employees. Both will be located at Eisai’s office in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

Bayer appointed Melissa Cameron as ombudsman, reporting to president and CEO Greg Babe. Cameron succeeds Kimberly Koerner, who held the position since 2004. Bayer’s employees can contact Cameron, anonymously if they wish, to report any suspected violation of the law or company policy.

UCB Pharma Canada announced the appointment of Anne de Cassini to general manager. Cassini is tasked with leading UCB’s Canadian operations. Cassini was most recently general manager of UCB’s central nervous system business in France.
