The WeissComm Group (WCG) announced a spate of new hirings, including Neville Hobson as head of social media in Europe. Hobson, a blogger and podcaster, runs his own consulting practice and also works with Bond Interactive, a joint venture with Bond PR International. Prior to that, he was VP, new marketing at Crayon. WCG also hired Chris Black as director of digital strategy (previously at Draft FCB); Bob Blount, director of analytics and insights (previously with Dell, in communications); Liesel Enke, associate (previously with Fleishman-Hillard); Geoff Knox, associate (previously with Dell); and Lauran Driver, associate (previously an AE with Porter Novelli).

Raptor Pharmaceuticals expanded its board of directors with the appointment of Llew Keltner. Keltner is currently CEO and president of Light Sciences Oncology, and CEO of Epistat, an international healthcare tech, risk management and strategy company.
