Sorrento Therapeutics, a San Diego-based biotech, hired Martina Molsbergen as vice president, business development. Molsbergen will handle responsibilities associated with her title, including alliances based on the company’s human monoclonal antibody libraries and technologies. Molsbergen was previously held a similar position with Crucell NV and with BioWa Inc., a Kyowa Hakko Kirin subsidiary.
Qforma, an analytics and predictive modeling company, appointed Erin McLaughlin to director of field operations. McLaughlin was most recently an account manager at Surveillance Data Inc., and has also held sales and management positions at NDCHealth.
