Sanofi and Actavis are competing for a merger deal with Omega Pharma. Bloomberg reports that the race to merge with Omega also includes privately-held Boehringer Ingelheim and Perrigo, although the quartet either had no comment or did not respond to Bloomberg’s requests for confirmation.

The New Jersey company is now at the tail-end of its own recent acquisition spree, having added Warner Chilcott last year and signing an agreement to buy Durata Therapeutics last month.
