Liberate Ideas and the American Academy of Physicians Assistants are rolling out the Liberate Health platform to give physician assistants more tools to communicate with patients. Part of the AAPA’s app, the resource allows PAs to create patient education pieces with an infographic sensibility plus the information found in a consumer resource like WebMD or Mayo Health. The patient decks include condition and medication information, and the tool lets PAs record patient interactions. AAPA’s CEO Jennifer Dorn said in a statement that the point-of-care tool “stands to improve patient outcomes by enhancing patient education.”
