Millennials are less trusting of traditional medical sources including doctors, nurses, advocacy groups, pharmacists and even Google searches, according to a study.

The generational cohort— defined as those between the ages of 18-29—was much less likely than the general population to seek out pharmacists for medical advice, with only a quarter of them judging pharmacists to be “somewhat or extremely reliable” sources of health info, compared to 70% overall, according to a Capstrat-Public Policy Polling survey. Thirty-seven percent of Millennials said doctors were unreliable sources of info, compared to 15% of all respondents.
