Pfizer was the top-ranked pharmaceutical company on this year’s Fortune 500 list, coming in at No. 31 with $53 million in revenues. Johnson and Johnson trailed behind Pfizer at No. 32 with nearly $51 million in revenues, followed by Abbott Laboratories at No. 93 with $22 million in revenues, Merck at No. 95 with $22 million in revenues and Bristol-Myers Squibb at No. 110 with $20 million in revenues.Rounding out the top 10 pharma companies on the 2006 list were Eli Lilly at No. 148, Amgen at No. 181, Schering-Plough at No. 250 and Forest Laboratories at No. 588.The Fortune 500 list is an annual ranking of America’s largest corporations by revenue.The full Fortune 500 list will be published in the April 17 issue of the magazine.
